Deja vu? Here is a better quality image of 5x7 oil treescape painting Do Si Do.
What a difference Photoshop makes ..... plus I'm trying to improve my SEO skills. Emptyeasel caught me with my SEO pants down in this article about using descriptive titles for Google. Huge learning curve.
The painting offer stands. $50 to the first person to email me. $6 shipping.
Bonnie Luria asks "How do you get so much detail into a small canvas without coming up mud?"
The truth is............I come up mud!
Then I wait until at least the next day (torture for an acrylic painter). New paint goes down bright and clear. I can add dark accents by thinning with lots of medium.........same for signing my name.

Nancy- isn't there always something lost or in this case, gained, when you tweak Photoshop just a little bit one way or another?
This newer version has a cleaner, brighter feel to it.
I'm guessing your artists' eye wanted a better image on your blog- even though the first one was fine.
Now- a big big thank you for the valuable input and for relaxing my overcritical mind about mud belonging to all of us! I'm going back to correct this morning based on what you told me.
Thanks for the mention here too.
I checked that Empty Easel article on improving your hit rates- excellent- very easy and worth the read.
You are a great blog mate!
Bonnie, please keep us posted.
And.....when you get a chance....some tips on your blog on how to get great paintings without adding a lot of detail would be much appreciated.
Nancy, lovely painting. It just glows. Thanks for the hints and links.
Thanks, Jo...and welcome home!
